The
SLFA-2800 is designed specifically to meet the recent demanding
needs of measuring the new low sulfur fuels, diesel and
RFG. The sensitivity and low-level detection has been improved
while maintaining all the previous high-performance characteristics
of HORIBA's SLFA series. Using the X-ray fluorescence technique,
fast and accurate measurements can be carried out in compliance
with the ASTM D4294 method, either in the lab or in the
field.
A detection limit of 5-wt-ppm sulfur takes you to new realms of measurement sensitivity. HORIBA's high sensitivity analyzer makes quick, accurate measurements of petroleum fuel samples from very low to high sulfur concentrations - i.e., all the way from gasoline to heavy fuel oils. A large, easy-to-read LCD screen, simple function keys, alphanumeric keypad and other features make the SLFA-2800/2100 Series so easy to use.
A new dimension of precision: 1.6-wt-ppm repeatability; detection limit down to 5-wt-ppm. With no increase in size, the miniature X-ray tube is much more powerful than previous models. This results in greater precision, with no need for the purging of helium or other inert gas. The SLFA-2800 has an automated turntable to measure up to eight samples unattended, while the SLFA-2100 is a single-sample version.
