H-20 - A Compact High Luminosity Monochromator
H-20The use of a concave aberration corrected holographic grating simplifies the optical configuration of the H-20 monochromator in comparison to conventional monochromators. The collimating and focusing mirrors are in fact eliminated, bringing many advantages, including flexibility of use, maximum level of transmission and high spectral purity.

Typical Applications

Variable filter. Absorption/transmission. Fluorescence applications. Laser diode characterization. Spectroscopic studies. Fibre optics characterization.

High Spectral Purity

The use of holographic gratings gives the H-20 a very low stray light level and no ghosts. Signal to noise ration is therefore optimum.

Wide Range of Accessories

When designing complete high performance optical configurations, the accessories are easy to set up and use. The modular design of the H-20 and its accessories provides the user with a versatile easy to use instrument system.

Optional Stepper Motor System

For automatic scanning and computer control.

Resolution

Typically 0.5 nm at 500 nm.

Slits

Fixed width, interchangeable inserts, height continuously adjustable.

OEM

Its compact design is ideal for prototype designs and OEM work, as well as research and breadboard systems.
