Advances in the detector technology, filters, lasers and optical design found in the range of LabRAM Raman microscopes combines with new software capabilities to speed up the acquisition of Raman “chemical images”. The true confocal performance and higher sensitivity provide greater image detail and definition whilst the advanced LabSPEC5 software gives an easy access to acquisition and display functions, ensuring Raman image generation is simple and routine.

Raman mapped images taken from various samples, such as polymers, minerals, pharmaceuticals and semiconductors are ideal candidates for Fast MAP acquisitions. The images shown typically used 300-900ms/point acquisitions.
