Spectroscopic Ellipsometry Technical Day - Basic Maintenance of
Ellipsometers
Dates: 21st March, 3rd April, 10th October, 24th October
Designed for HORIBA Jobin Yvon ellipsometer users, the technical day will focus on the basic maintenance of the UVISEL and MM-16 spectroscopic ellipsometers.
The courses will focus on the system working and you will learn the basic service and support tasks. Simple procedures are used to describe the common troubleshooting tips.

the most used Dispersion Formulae
Dates: 22nd March, 4th April, 11th October, 25th October
Designed for HORIBA Jobin Yvon ellipsometer users, the technical day will provide a comprehensive explanation of the parameterization of the most common dispersion formulae used to describe the optical constants of materials such as: Cauchy, Lorentz, Drude, New Amorphous, Tauc-Lorentz, Kato-Adachi. Numerous examples will be covered and you will be able to set the parameters of new dispersion formulae suited to your applications.

Spectroscopic Ellipsometry Training Courses:
This two day training course provides a thorough background in the basic theory and data analysis methods to characterize a large variety of samples by spectroscopic ellipsometry. The practical sessions aim to use the ellipsometer and DeltaPsi2 software through practical applications.
The courses can be extended to one more day. This day will be focussed on sample analysis allowing to extend methodologies and use of the DeltaPsi2 software functions for the characterization of advanced samples.
